On January, 22nd in the Hall of celebrations «Imperial the Hall» will take place the solemn evening devoted to opening of a new billiard season. The grandiose holiday organised by the Moscow confederation of billiard sports will collect the widest sports public.

As press-service MKBS informs, the  brightest stars of the Russian billiards will take part in action , world champions, Russia and Moscow (Jury Pashchinsky, Anna Mazhirina, Konstantin Stepanov, Ruslan Chinahov, Olga Levin, Natalia Trofimenko and others), legendary trainers and the referee (George Mitasov, Arcady Loshakov, Anatoly Polej, Evgenie Maslov), and also heads of billiard clubs, outstanding figures of a science and culture, and also representatives of business elite, political and statesmen.

Participants of a celebration will sum up the last year and will discuss plans of support and development of billiard sports in the conditions of a global economic crisis.

Billiards occupies an important place in a life of the Russian society. It is one of the most perspective and demanded kinds of sports. The number of admirers of game hugely also grows constantly, after all employment by billiards are accessible to people of the most different age and a physical condition. Therefore billiard movement is one of the major directions of development of sports as a whole.
