Igor Zubarev: we write history of the Russian billiards (№5 (17) from November, 15th, 2007)

Transfer «the game Formula» costs in a grid of an announcement of television channel "HUNDRED" from its most occurrence. Tell, how there was an idea to make the project about billiards and as it was realised.

– I as "creator" was engaged in many creative trades: removed as the professional operator, wrote scenarios on preview trailers, did musical programs. One of them some years conducted then still to nobody known Dima Nagiev. Differently, потихонечку got hand in. Once I have removed a clip for one rock musician. It has not passed completely: in some years it became the general producer of a television channel. And here then possibility to choose a theme was presented to me and to make the program. At that time I have got acquainted with the director of Petersburg branch of Factory "Start". It was offered to me to make a preview trailer for the company. Speech about possibility to remove transfer about billiards later has come, I have suggested a branch management to make the joint project. But as it often happens, there are no conditions there is money, no possibilities … Idea «зависла».

Has passed a lot of time. In 2003 I have appeared invited to channel "HUNDRED". At me was two projects which I have offered the channel. The first – theatrical: I very much would like to remove by means of mobile television station performances at our theatres. By then I had a wide experience of work on ПТС in huge concert halls and in studio, on the air. But ПТС on the channel was not, and to me have suggested to be engaged in something another. I have returned to a billiards theme, and, it is necessary to tell, very successfully. The project has been supported by Factory "Start" with which us now connect not only business, but also friendly relations. Taking an opportunity, it would be desirable to express gratitude to bank "Югра" and in particular to Michael Ivanovichu Gorbe who supported the program from its first release. The unique person! The person of the highest test! Despite the fact that what Michael Ivanovich has passed now to work in other bank, to the successor to Vladimir Leonidovichu Bronnikovu it "bequeathed" to support our project. It is necessary to tell, we are, in general, in atmosphere ponima - ния and friendliness from outside the billiard public, professional players, youth, veterans. – When you had a possibility to make the program, you, practically without reflecting, have stopped on a billiards theme …

– In the childhood at us in a court yard there lived the invalid – uncle Volodja. It exposed small such «бильярдец» near which all local muzhiks and мужички, that is children gathered in the summer. Uncle Volodja went on an artificial limb, but in billiards played perfectly well. It was very interesting to me to observe of game. I stayed there hours, listened байки, looked, how adults play. And as soon as I have grown up, to me at last have suggested to make the first blow. The delight was unusual. Thank God, with an eye estimation at me problems never was, therefore blows began to turn out practically at once. Well and somehow further on a life with bil - yard at me relations … Mum long time began to develop worked as the organizer in a red corner. There there were tables for table tennis and for billiards. Certainly, then I at all did not represent, what level there is a skill of professional players. No concept had about screws, delays... But often won! It already later I have learnt that professionals on tournaments create.

– And it happened to you to participate in competitions sometime?

– I took part in tournament of mass-media and have reached the fourth place. It was last year. Fairly I admit, I very much tried. From television channel "HUNDRED", by the way, there were many interested persons to appear among participants, therefore to us even at - were gone at itself to spend selection games. I seriously prepared, separately trained brothers-in-law, separately another's. I consider that has shown good game. At least, personally for me is maximum result!

– You remove competitions. How you felt on a place of heroes of the program?

– Tournament of mass-media, on the one hand, sports competition, and to another – the present holiday of billiards. We met our colleagues: journalists, directors, operators from other television channels. We are familiar with many more than ten years. I then "have stumbled" on producer REN Valere Itkine TV. We were familiar before, and here have met behind a billiard table. Went literally a sphere to a sphere. But the Value it was possible to beat me.

– That it is competent and interesting to tell to spectators about billiards, it is necessary after all not only to be a good expert, but also to understand the game theory. Whence you got knowledge?

– Any base of initial knowledge at me was. Then in process when you constantly communicate with sportsmen, representatives of federations, you invite in the program for comments of authoritative judges, masters of the international class you get hand in. Puhlenko Alexander Nikolaevich remarkably makes comments. It is possible to listen with delight to its speech! He lives billiards, breathes it. He knows history of each player, knows, how billiard pockets on one billiard table and as they are killed on other should be killed, he knows, in what party начес cloth on снукерных tables. He can speak about billiards infinitely, very interestingly and always on business.

– You not only communicated with many professionals of billiard sports, but also saw unimaginable quantity of tournaments. What party or, maybe, blow of what you saw, have left the brightest impression?

– I remember tournament «the Magnificent eight» where in the ending met Evgenie Stalev and Alexander Palamar. Tournament passed in Petersburg club "Leader". Pressure in a hall has reached a limit. I remember, how Palamar who practically does not prepare for blows, could not choose a position, probably, minutes five. Played «the Dynamical pyramid» where by rules after the hammered brother-in-law the sportsman plays «from a hand» – exposes a sphere on cloth in that place where to it it is convenient. And here Alexander who usually strikes at once blow, was lost. Has put a sphere, has thought, has bypassed a table with one, on the other hand, took a sphere, has established in other place, it was inclined over cloth, has risen in a rack. It would Seem, here now blow at last will follow. Сталев observes. In a hall something is created unimaginable …

No! Again takes a sphere, bypasses a table, all repeats at first. Recently similar question have set to us with Puhlenko, and we have simultaneously recollected this meeting about which I to you have told. Alexander Nikolaevich, by the way, has added that when at it bad mood that somehow it to lift, it takes the cartridge with record of this game and puts it in the videorecorder. Here that such billiards.

– But agree, even the most fascinating party will not impress the televiewer if it it is uninteresting is removed. Whether there are any cunnings and subtleties of shooting of billiard game?

– The TV is a creativity. If behind the chamber there is a person creative (and in another way and cannot be) it turns out as a result not bad. And if this creative person also is keen on game which it removes, understands it, can anticipate event which is developed on green cloth, here then the excellent result turns out. We with operators, my friends, quite often spend time at a billiard table. We understand, in what we play, therefore and we remove adequately, interestingly. Certainly, it is better, that I spoke about shooting not, namely they. I can tell that thanks to work of all our collective the program has high enough rating, even in spite of the fact that leaves not during very convenient time. And the program has a audience which includes not only fans of billiards. The interesting case was. Our operator Serezha Slavnitsky has left to have a rest in Essentuki with a family, and there has casually got to talking with one young man. And that tells that supposedly was recently in Peter in holiday, villages to watch TV, has started to switch with the channel to the channel and has encountered transfer about billiards which to it was very much pleasant and remembered. «The game formula» – the unique program in Peter, therefore to guess, about what there is a speech, it was easy. It is not thought up history, and to us it was very pleasant. Spectators like that we do. When you create something with love – here then the excellent result turns out. I try to sate shots which I take in installation, to it: love to billiards, love to people which this game are carried away. My secret also consists in it.

But the program I create not one, and collective of adherents – very professional people. My wife, Anna Zubarev, is a permanent script writer of the program. Till the certain moment billiards to it was in wonder, but потихонечку it too has conceived a liking for game. With directors of photography who with us work, I am am connected by years of friendship. It is Sasha Muhammetov, Vladimir Sokolov, Sergey Slavnitsky, Dmitry Igoshin. And, of course, the leader with whom to me has very much carried, – actor Jura Tarasov. It the big good fellow, very hardworking, talented, flexible. With it it is very easy and prijat - but to work and to the director, and operato - frames. At us the program multicomponent. It not only news, but also billiards history in statements, reconstruction of events which ever occurred to known people. Юра was both Lev Tolstoi, and Dostoevsky, and Pushkin … All of us are keen on billiards, often we play, to us is very comfortable together. It is a rare occurence when you are engaged in work, and work gives to you pleasure. To us has carried.

– Besides the program «the game Formula» at you is any else projects, ideas which were to be realised?

– It is a lot of projects. If we will be supported by financiers, we plan to remove at first artly-documentary film, and then and art. It will be a picture on the basis of historical events. I would like, that it there was a comedy, something like «Features of national billiards». Complexity that project realisation needs time. It is necessary to forget about current questions, to have a rest at least week and with the lucid mind which has been not burdened by old problems, to be engaged in a script writing. But I, unfortunately, now cannot afford it, therefore while we constantly are in discussion, but realisation of our plans have not started yet. There is one more perspective direction. Recently we have spent at us to studios on channel "HUNDRED" матчевую the international meeting between the repeated champion of Finland Petri Pohola and our champion of 2007 on «the Dynamical pyramid» Alexander Chepikovym. It was the first trial meeting. I have not been assured yet that all will turn out how we have conceived. We have brought a billiard table to studio, I have addressed to the good friend and teacher Vladimir Stepanyan whom it is free, I underline, have put dynamic light. We have made that we have made.

I can tell that the meeting has gone right. Already there is a resonance on the Internet. I hope, we will enter into a new stage of illumination of billiard events in Petersburg. At us the big plans. I am ready to hold any level of competition on billiards. It mo - жет to be the cup of the former republics of Soviet Union, at us good relations with veterans, for example. Such projects are very necessary. I do not love pathos, but in another way will not tell. It will be unique tournament. I know, how it can be issued, I see this picture. We can remove in studio on channel "HUNDRED", we can use billiard clubs where us are always glad to see. We have a possibility all it adequately to present, therefore I hope that all will be how we plan.

– I hope, at you all will turn out, as on TV today not so it is a lot of billiard projects, as it would be desirable. Why, in your opinion, the billiards theme remains closed?

– Billiards is not closed. It still up to the end is not opened. On it still locks recently hung, and gate were under the alarm system. But locks and the alarm system have removed, and only just ourselves have started to slightly open these gate. At billiards the big future, we stand at its sources and we try to make as much as possible qualitatively everything that on us depends to involve supporters, fans and professionals. Billiards is our property, we can be proud of it the same as the Bolshoi theatre or Kalashnikov's automatic machine. Russian billiards is a history which ourselves now write. And on us depends, whether there will be it krasi - вая history.
