Ruslan Chinahov: "Billiards for me is a creativity" (№6 (18) from January, 20th, 2009)

It is young, talented and, undoubtedly, is ambitious. He has already earned to itself(himself) a name in the world of professional billiards. It name the future of the Russian pool. Get acquainted: Ruslan Chinahov. Today it the visitor of our magazine.

Give we will talk how all has begun. When you have come to billiards?

– All has begun it rather recently, rather for a long time - six years ago when the father has resulted me for the first time in billiard club. As they say at us in Russia, «Business was in the evening, there was nothing to do».

– The father himself takes a great interest in billiards?

– Played amateur level earlier, but has already thrown. Time has resulted, the second, the third, the fourth. And then I and itself have started for кий to undertake. However, the first half a year of the fool dragged, anything especially did not do. And then already was engaged in billiards seriously. I had a first trainer – in the same place, in Petrozavodsk, in Kareliya.

– And you whence come?

– From Kareliya. Already I live three years in Moscow. And began in the homeland.

– Whether there was it a pool or Russian?

– Russian. In a year of game I became the champion of Russia in a category "Juniors". And further all has gone on the accruing. Gradually the hobby for billiards has turned to meaning of the life. I resorted in club every day after school and was ready to spend there more time, than it is in days. And I already was engaged in a pool in Moscow where has moved together with parents.

– To play or for the family reasons?

– Partly to play, partly for the family reasons. All of us burnt with the desire to move for a long time: both mum, and the daddy, and I. Besides, I in Kareliya had problems with local federation. It, perhaps, also has served as the solving reason of moving. We have started to choose carefully a place, to discuss variants and have stopped on Moscow. Then I already seriously was engaged in a pool. "Empire" was my first club – I there have located practically right after moving. One and a half year strenuously trained, anything especially did not win. But it was natural process of growth. And then results have gone already. In 2006 I became the champion of Russia, the champion of Europe, have won the Cup of the Minister of Defence. Now here time - виваю this success.

– Who from players imposes you most?

– One of my idols is Kostja (Stepans. – the note of the author). At it a wide experience – much bigger, than at others in Russia. In many respects I equal on it. We train in one club, therefore during game I always peep something and I try to apply it later. From foreigners to me very much nra - вится Frantsisko Bustamante. At it the most beautiful game.

– And, say, Ralf the Bough?

– I do not know, can, I while went a little and saw a little, but in Europe there are no such "persons" on whom it would be desirable to equal. Yes, the Bough, of course, it is pleasant to me – tactically it is strong. He/she is the person of the highest professionalism. But I cannot inherit it. At me it is perfect other manner of game.

– At you attacking?

– Not that attacking – I simply quickly play that. And I cannot carry myself to that category of "classics" of billiards which work under the book. At some players all is defined and накатано, they are not difficult for predicting. I constantly try to think out something new. After all it is possible to get out of the same positions differently: well or excellently. I prefer to improvise. That is billiards for me – inspiration, absolute creativity.

– Creativity demands a certain spirit. Such impression that you when you play, do not worry at all.

– Nerves in this game излишни. If I is nervous because of the errors, it will damage my concentration. It is necessary to understand simply that people not iron and are mistaken all without an exception. If you lose, you lose itself. That is there are not enough cases when you win. Basically it is your own fault. Therefore I each time try to direct all thoughts to separate game – not important, qualification it, a semi-final or the ending.

– In tournament «World Cup of Pool» you represented Russia on pair with Stepanovym. How there was a selection of participants?

– At that point in time I was in Russia the second for a rating. Therefore we together also have gone on tournament. Костя гарантированно the best in Russia, and I try to be better than the others.

– Last year you became the hero of the youthful European championship. Remind, please, in what discipline you have won "gold"?

– In everything where took part, – in "Nine", "Strejte" and command offset.

– What the championship passed in Ukraine, has played any role? Nevertheless the Russian-speaking environment and so forth is closer to native walls?

– We will tell so: I have appeared in due time in a proper place and on the necessary tournament. It was the peak of my form. I then did everything that wanted, and hands obeyed.

– And in 2007 on the youthful European championship it was difficult to act?

– Basically, no. But I could not concentrate and have shown insufficiently high level of game. That is it was prepared well, and in the championship has not flashed. There was no aggression, a sports rage. I by itself remained is dissatisfied.

– Besides billiards at the given stage you have any hobbies?

– Was much earlier. And now there was only a billiards. Plus study occupies a lot of time – I just leave school.

– It was already defined, on whom you will go further to study?

– Earlier I wished to be the economist. Already I do not know. Likely, all the same it is necessary to stop on this trade. And so on a life all time is occupied with billiards, study and dialogue with friends.

– Now someone trains you? There is any system on which you are engaged?

– I have a system – but it purely my, personal, developed for years. I know that it is necessary to me and over what I should work. It, besides, creativity. And Radimir Nureev, the trainer of our club helps me. Besides, the important role in my formation Lev Nikolaevich Yaroslavtsev has played.

– This year you have not gone on the World championship. What plans for the next year?

– Certainly, I plan to be qualified for the future championship. Very much I wish to act and show there everything, on what is capable.
