Superiority of Russia: the best among young (№1 (19) from March, 25th, 2009)

The future world champions competed in three groups: young men till 16 years (60 participants), young men till 18 years (61 participant) and girls till 18 years (17 participants). Representatives have taken part In competition almost thirty regional federations of billiard sports of the country.

Despite an early age many participants already could brag of considerable achievements in sport. Among sportsmen were not only first-rank sportsmen, but also candidates for the master of sports, and also one master of sports, and the girl – Julia Kychanova (Samara), and one master of sports of the international class – Sergey Pletnev (Samara). The high status of tournament was underlined also by presence on it of the first vice-president of Federation of billiard sports of Russia Vladimir Nikifo- рова which has personally arrived to observe those who is the future of the Russian billiard sports. At superiority opening there were also officials of various regional federations. After solemn opening on which sets of sweets have been handed over all participants, on 16 tables games have begun.

Young sportsmen have shown remarkable sports will, fights went since ten mornings till eight evenings. Children got tired, but courageously went to the planned purpose. Trainers present on tournament noticed that almost all participants showed worthy game and beautiful billiards. Especially pleased that many young sportsmen played serious отыгрыш – the certificate of that children understand a game essence in billiards, its tactics and strategy.

As prize-winners were defined in three groups, on tournament was much both pleasures, and small tragedies. The first games have finished girls. Krasnoyarsk sportswoman Darya Mihajlova, the owner of a cup of Siberia became the winner. Having reached the ending and having beaten in a solving duel the competitor Arina Nekrasov (Sankt - Petersburg) with the account 4:1, the 16-year-old billiard-player has won a gold medal of the All-Russia competitions and has executed the specification of the master of sports. Svetlana Kornjuhina (Voronezh) became the bronze prize-winner. The master of sports Julia Kychanova who is trained by skilled Ekaterina Kazakova, has taken the fourth place.

In age group till 16 years the victory was gained by Stanislav Nikolaev-Posuhin (Moscow Region). Last year he too played the ending, and, having conceded to the fellow countryman Dmitry Petropavlovskomu, could not constrain some bitter tears of disappointment. Now Stanislav managed to show the best game, and it became the first. On the second place – Artem of Ermines (Moscow Region), on the third – Artem Chinshevoj (Voro - неж). In this group it is possible to note a debut at competitions of similar level новосибирца Alexey Ladanova whom, having deduced from struggle that - ких strong sportsmen as КМС Nikolay Mironov (Penza) and Valery Arzhanoj (Rostov th to Don), was included into first ten.

The candidate for the master of sports Vladislav Osminin acting at competition to a stripe of Factory "Start" became the champion of the country in group till 18 years. Vladislav, being the unique representative Rostov regional ФБС in this age category, on superiority has acted rather confidently. The sixteen-year sportsman has successfully passed all stages of competition and, having made the way in the ending, has changed the candidate for the master of sports Anatoly Dmitriev from Orenburg ФБС. Evgenie Nikitenko from Krasnoyarsk became the third.

On solemn rewarding of winners celebrated not only those who stood on a pedestal, but also their trainers. As a sign of success on tournament and sportsmen, and their instructors have received as a gift hours which count now time of the big sports victories and plans for the future.
