ФБС St.-Petersburg has presented a calendar of competitions for 2009. Apparently from it – the great attention is given to tournaments of League of fans of billiards which has been created recently.

Within all 2009 within the limits of tournament in the largest billiard clubs of a city will pass tournaments with a handicap on a pyramid and a pool. Players will receive rating points which will help to reveal on 32 strongest the billiard-player for participation in the December superendings for participation in each of 11 monthly rounds . To participation in Superiority ЛЛБ 2009 all interested persons are supposed: fans and professional sportsmen, without the age qualification, the man and the woman. Interested persons are supposed to Superiority at any stage of competitions, without dependence from quantity of not complete rounds.

Sports ranks and the prize-winning places won earlier by players in tournaments of a various rank are considered by the Commission on handicaps at award of an individual handicap (odds) of the sportsman. For the admission to competitions it is necessary to be registered beforehand on a site www.billiard-spb.ru, being main information channel on illumination of Superiority ЛЛБ, or to execute the given procedure directly in the billiard club holding current tournament.

On January, 17th the first stage of tournament of League of Fans of Billiards of St.-Petersburg has taken place. Competition has passed in a big way: 128 declared participants, 40 game tables for Russian billiards, numerous spectators and specificity of atmosphere.
